Racism-
1931: In the town of Scottsboro, Alabama, 9 young black men were falsely accused of raping 2 young white females.
With no evidence, they were convicted and sentenced to death by electric chair.
1 year later, after being tried at the Alabama Supreme court, they were granted a second trial.
